Here are the ingredients for the cracker recipe. 1 1/2 cup of Canola oil Box of crackers Package of Ranch dressing mix 1 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes |
Mix oil, red pepper flakes, & ranch dressing mix together. |
Then pour over crackers. |
Turn your jar on the side and then every 30 minutes or so turn a different way. Up, upside down, sideways, etc. This is so the oil distrubutes evenly. |
I let mine sit in the jar with the oil overnight. Then I removed the crackers and put in another jar. You would think the crackers would be soft and oily but they are crisp and dry. |
The crackers are delicious!
Next time I will add a little more red pepper.

Crackers with a twist!

I keep reminding myself that I NEED to make these! I know my hubby would love them!
I have made these before and it's easier to lay the crackers out on a cookie sheet and drizzle the oil mixture over the top and let them sit.
VAL!! I am still here! I just wanted to let you know that for some reason my laptop will notlet me on your personal blog:( I try everytime that I see you have posted but it freezes up on me. I can only get as far as your first pics. I got this laptop for Christmas because our home computer is having some repairs done. Hopefully, when we get the home computer back I will be able to read your posts! I miss reading about your family! How is that sweet baby boy doing?
